CanSkate is a program for beginner skaters.
It provides the best foundation for any ice sport, including figure skating, hockey, and ringette.
Skaters improve skills in three fundamental areas: balance, control, and agility. After completion of six stages, skaters can proceed to the StartSkate program.

The Star Skate Program teaches figure skating skills and the discipline skills in free skate, ice dance, skating skills and interpretive. Group and private lessons are available. National Standard testing is completed for all skaters from Star 1-Gold levels. Skaters are given opportunities to participate in both Regional and Provincial Competitions as well as Seminars.
